Where does black tea comes from?

Like green tea, black tea comes from the leaves of the tea plant (Camellia sinensis).

To make black tea, the leaves are "bruised" by shaking them, which releases enzymes that react with the oxygen in the air. When the leaves reach the right level of darkness, they are heated, which destroys the enzymes and stops the oxidization process.
