Why is organic better for the Earth?

Organic farming protects the Earth by not using artificial pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers, not treating fields with sludge, not using genetically modified plants and not irradiating crops to preserve them. This means that all those toxins stay out of the soil, water and air.
